Biometric consulting
One of the main tasks of the Biostatistics and Medical Biometry group is to contribute to gaining scientific knowledge in medicine. To this end, we cooperate with researchers in planning, conducting, and analyzing studies as part of our biometric consulting services. We aim to support the efficient and correct evaluation and transparent communication of scientific findings through the problem-appropriate application of statistical methods.
We offer the following forms of consulting:
- verbal statistical consulting by prior appointment to discuss questions in an ongoing research project
- statistical analysis of existing data including the description of statistical procedures
- cooperation, i.e. joint implementation of a research project (including study planning, application, supervision during the course of the study, analysis of the data, and support with publications of the data; as required)
- jointly supervised theses (Bachelor's, Master's, and doctoral)

Note on the exchange of research data
We use Dracoon for secure end-to-end encrypted data exchange. You will receive a link from us that you can use to upload your research data. Please refrain from sending patient data via e-mail. These are generally unencrypted and not suitable for data exchange. We will not open e-mail attachments containing patient data.
